Major national law firm based in Ohio is offering the opportunity for an experienced Executive Compensation/Employee Benefits Attorney to step into a well established and growing practice at Of Counsel or Partner level. This is an opportunity to work with an Employee Benefits and Corporate team of attorneys that are considered among the top practices in the country. Considerable M&A support as well as EB compliance for some of the major corporations in the Mid-west. Position is due to impending retirements of two partners who have lucrative practices. We are looking for an attorney with at least 8 years and up to 20 years of experience in Comp & Benefits law who can work in one of the locations mentioned above. No portables required. This is a unique opportunity in a firm with a reputation of being one of the top places to work and has very little turnover. Compensation based on experience. Privately held national employee benefits consulting firm has recently created two new positions due to growth in the health and welfare benefits practice in the western region. The position is for a mid-level benefits consultant and is an opportunity to join a growing practice, help it grow further, take over client projects and join the firm with the least turnover in the industry. You will be work with a team to respond to RFPs, make presentations and generally participate in new business development. You will also work on client consulting projects in the design, implementation and funding for large health and welfare benefits plans. The clients are both public and private sector organizations. We are looking for someone with 5 to 10 years of health and welfare plans experience in a consulting or insurance environment. A strong financial background is needed and underwriting experience is also helpful. This is a fee for service organization with no brokerage operations. These positions have unlimited growth potential and an opportunity for equity participation in this employee owned company.
COMPENSATION: $150 - 190,000 base plus bonuses

HEALTH BENEFITS CLIENT RELATIONSHIP V/P

The NY metro area office of a privately held national management consulting firm has just created a new position in the health and group benefits practice for a client relationship manager and new business developer. This position is for a health care generalist who has deep expertise in the design, costing, implementation and administration of health and welfare programs for private sector employers. The focus of this role includes client relationship management, business development, leadership and service delivery. This person should use quantitative and analytical diagnostic tools to determine the needs and formulate integrated and appropriate solutions. Should contribute to practice expansion through thought leadership, authoring articles and speaking at conferences and seminars.
We are looking for someone with 10-20 years of experience in a professional services firm and/or insurance company who has expertise in the design, funding, administration and compliance of large group health care plans (health & welfare, managed care, wellness, disease management, & consumer driven programs). Experience with one or more of the following is a big plus: Telecommunications, Technology, Professional Services, Hospitals, Sports Leagues, Defense Contractors and non-profits. Actuarial credentials are a plus but not needed. An ability to identify and create new business opportunities with new and existing clients and to build effective relationships up and down the organization with colleagues. CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER

Our client is a growing and profitable regional employee benefits consulting and actuarial firm that has just created a new position due to growth in their Taft Hartley Plans health and group benefits practice. This firm has a reputation for keeping their employees and promoting from within. The position has plenty of potential growth both professionally and financially. This is a senior level consulting role and one in which this person will be managing large and complex health benefits actuarial and consulting projects for major multi-employer funds in the Western Region. It reports to the Regional Head of Taft Hartley Plans consulting. This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a significantly growing practice.
We are looking for a senior health plans consultant who has both a professional services background and familiarization with Taft Hartley health plans. Must have good client relations and management skills. Ten plus years of experience and actuarial credentials are helpful to be successful in this role.
