regional actuarial consulting firm has just created a new position for an experienced pension actuary to join a growing and profitable practice in their Atlanta metro office.
They are offering the opportunity for a mid-level consulting actuary to join a growing practice, move into a project management role and take over as much responsibility as their skills allow. This is an opportunity to further develop client and business development skills as part of a very successful team. This firm offers unlimited professional and financial growth potential. You will be working with local mid-sized employers (500 - 2500 lives) on the DB and DC plans and function as the day to day contact for the larger clients in addition to developing into a strategic advisor on their employee benefits programs. You will also look for opportunities to cross sell additional services to those clients. This is a well established firm that has had consistent and sustained growth over the past decade. The work environment is very colletial and the firm has a number of long term employees and little turnover. Someone at a mid-level who might be in a large insurance or consulting firm and feels like a number or has limited growth potential available, this may be the right career move. We are looking for at least 5 years experience and actuarial
credentials (EA and/or ASA or close to them) along with experience in large retirement plans. Someone with good verbal and written communication skills is ideal.
